Installation |
Software can run standalone, on a single
computer, or on a network of workstations attached
to a server. Software is designed to operate on any number
of terminals but there may be constraints depending on the version
you are installing.
-
Standalone installation to a single computer is
automated, follow the wizard instructions.
-
Network installation requires you select a server drive
for all workstations to share.
-
Installation
will create a directory for the program
software, databases and default configuration
files.
Once installation is complete, you will
see a desktop icon from where you can execute the program on the
server or the workstation.
The next step involvesng up the program's
setup menu where you can customize the 'primary
setup' for your
business. The manual takes
you step by step into how to setup a company, your first schedule and
many of the features and options.
Due to the scope of
the applications be prepared to spend time understanding how each feature
works and how they may affect operations. You may decide to limit or
switch off unwanted features because you do not need them or you are unsure
of how they work. Many features are terminal specific which allows you
to test them on a single machine before committing them to other computers,
other features are global, and will affect all operators.

Clients with usernames
and passwords may access hardware and
network information via our website "client only" areas.

a design feature since 6ti's inception.
In a 24x7 business the ability to upgrade

Define terminal.
-
